A Letter from our Founder
I created the company after running another start up business with partners. We ran the business like a corporation. Over the years, I have learned that entrepreneurship was a unique challenge. I learned that each member of a small organization is extremely important and must carry their own weight, earn their compensation and produce results. The negative impact of sub-par performance is devastating and cannot be sustained by an emerging business.
I’ve been in business as an entrepreneur for 22 years. Through ECS, we have continually demonstrated the ability to successfully partner with a variety of entities. ECS is a team player. For example, ECS entered a joint venture with Albert Kahn Associates, a 100+ old architectural firm, on a million-dollar project to design and install the cabling infrastructure for Motor City Casino Hotel. We also have maintained a managed contract customer relationship with KIRCO Management Services LLC, a multi million-dollar development, property management, and construction company that has grown nationally over the last 19 years. KIRCO is our flagship, cornerstone customer since 2001. In the future, our relationship will continue to strengthen as both companies grow.

Metro Solutions is a fiscal intermediary and administrative agent for individuals who employ a personal caregiver through the MI Health Link Program. The health insurer or referring agency is billed monthly for all caregiver payroll and expenses processed for around 550 individuals managing over $500,000 of funds per month. In order to improve the revenue cycle, our agency opted to implement batch billing using Electronic Data Interchange (EDI). We were right in the middle of implementing the new EDI application when, unexpectedly, we lost access to the IT support resources we retained. Moving fast, the Chief Financial Officer of Metro referred Evans Consulting Services LLC to engage and lead the project.
ECS came in and assessed the situation. They worked with the lead person at Metro for the project as well as all the other entities involved. ECS re-created all tools needed to process the batch billing and worked tirelessly with the Metro staff to implement batch EDI claims processing for our Agency. They understood the financial and operational impact this delay caused and frequently checked in until we received our first payment.
We were very pleased with ECS’s and plan to use ECS in the future for our other mission critical projects. This is a relatively new industry so we will refer ECS to others so they can be helped as we were!
The challenges we face as a General Contractor is that we have a network with specific functionality. If any part of our network goes down, Evans Consulting has provided the experience, resources and professionalism to get us back up and running. They understand that we are trying to run a business and can’t have things going haywire with our technology. Evans Consulting has always played an important role on our team.
